Daily Journal Continued November 12,1998, William Thomas Thompson All work and no play all the day,I must stay focused to finish. From the break of day with a Shoney's buffet,I checked out of the Day's End and headed toward the beach with a quick stop at a Home Depot and a quick look at the mighty AtlanticOcean across the wa-terway and back to the trailer parked on a grassy lot at the Seda Mission. I spreadout all my equipment and opened all my paint and began pushing iton with a brush and with a roller with an extent- sion pole. By now the sun was hot but I was on the shady side and had a hat for the sunny side. Finally the mission loaned me a 8ft ladder that helped on higher art where the 4 foot one with handle bars I brought along would not reach,thank God,I did not die from dinner last night at the Clock Family Restaurant. My water bottle was laying in the sun through the carwindow and was to hot to dr-ink. Thrist and the need for a bathroom was my biggest enemy. No-thing now can stand in my way. Round and round the trailer I went to correct the last weeks rain damage and repaint the blue sky in the background. Atlast the new earth became round and the tree of life had new life and the resurrection took place and Armageddon. As the sun rolled across the mighty sky,it all happened. I never thought of lunch. Just get it done and get it lettered with Bible message of the word God for Haiti and all the world. This freight train kept coming by North and South while the drug pushers would eye my work at a distance across the lot and hawkers thatoffer to sell wrenches and stuff and beggars go by and the auto repair man paints on his building,I struggle to complete all of this 100feet of art before the sun makes its circle. Now all of this community has watched. The mechanics across the alley seem to know what was painted even on the back side. Let the HolyWord speak for itself. I am bone tired as the sun sets,I take pictures of all sides. In 800 square feet of this mobil billboard with 4 sides,I paint a tree of life on the frontend with the Scripture from both Genesis and Revelation naming it"The tree of life" as the source of foods that God had provided for health and healing. Genesis2-9,The tree of life was in the Garden of Eden. Revelation 22-2"And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations","1-And He showed me a pure river of water of life,"clear as crystal,proceeding out the throne of God and of the Lamb".Revelation22-5"And there shall be no night there". I painted all matter of fruit on the tree. I pray this will reach many as I am relieved and drive up I-95. On the left side over the big new earth,I painted The Lord coming from Heaven on a white horse with all the saints following behind Him on white horses and streamed all across the 40feet of trailer wall with a happy sun and moon and with the scripturepainted from Revelation 19-1"Alleluia,Salvation,and glory,and honor and power, unto the Lord our God;2-For truth and righteousness are His Judg-ements".Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.On the back end I painted,The resurrection of the dead in Christ over thefire and under the souls ascending. On the right side is lettered with the same ultra white paint the scripture from Revelation 21-1,"He that overcometh shall inherit all things,and I will be his God, and he shall be my son",8"But the fearful and the unbelieving,and the abominable,and murderers,and whoremongers,and sorcerers,and idolaters and all liers,shall have their part in the lake offire.
